Every time I see Crackdown on GameStop’s used games wall, I am tempted to grab it and run. I had a great time plowing through that game in about three solid days. I would love to go back and get some of the high-end achievements I missed on my first playthrough (getting all the agility/hidden orbs, for example), but unfortunately my gamesave got corrupted last year. Which brings me to my question.
Right now, you can delete games from your Xbox 360 gamerprofile if you didn’t get any achievements in the game. In other words, no one has to know that you played Surf’s Up for a few minutes with your nephew. But if they gave you the option to delete a game (plus the achievement points you got for it), would you do it? The only thing holding me back from playing Crackdown again is that it’d take me 20 hours just to start seeing the few remaining achievements pop up again. I’d gladly erase all of my previous cheevers for the chance to start the experience over from the beginning.

I was thinking about getting this game as well, I need to get the achievement for beating all the missions on co-op. If you get it, let me know and I’ll help u blaze thru the missions with my uber-powered character.
OK guys, question time:
If you could do this, which achievements did you enjoy getting so much/find so satisfying that you would love to be able to get again?
By contrast, which achievements were so hard/soul-destroying to get that you would hate to be forced to get again? You must already have earned it.
I’d like to say Braid and Portal for cheevos I’d like to get again, but the puzzles wouldn’t be as much fun when you know how to do them.
I’d also like to get the cheevo for coming first in a multiplayer round of BF:BC as it took me ages to get the first time; I got close so many times but would always be beaten by 10-20 points in the dying seconds of the game. When I finally got it I had one of those rare rounds where you’re almost untouchable and I decimated all in a 800+ point game. Good times!
I’d hate to have to get the “Criterion Elite” cheevo in Burnout Paradise (for 100% completion of the solo game) again, as I really don’t think I could put all of that work in a second time. Either that or the achievement for finishing the quest in fallout 3 involving the kid and the fire ants – that just took way too long!
I wouldn’t mind getting some of the achievements in Banjo Nuts and Bolts and Viva Pinata, since they had so many achievements I really loved seeing that icon pop up. However, I do not want the Mile High Club achievement erased, last time I checked there are still very few people who have this and I AM ONE OF THEM!!!!!
P.S. The quest with fire ants and the kid was the one that discouraged me from playing Fallout 3. I will return to it eventually though.
I would replay Crackdown (obviously) and most of The Orange Box, although I don’t want to re-do the “send a gnome into space” achievement – that took me an entire day!
I would definitely NOT want to replay The Darkness or Lost Planet. Those were the two games that made me decide to never play games JUST for the achievements.
Then again, I’m playing Timeshift right now.
I would love to re-get a few of the cheevers from BF2:MC multiplayer. I remember how satisfying it was when I got the weapons kill streak ones.
I wish I could start over on the killing all the Templars in Assassin’s Creed. I would love to go back and do it and I found some good maps where they all are, but I don’t know who I have and haven’t killed yet and I don’t want to go all the way through it again.
