I have a stack of new $10 games thanks to Gamefly and Circuit City, and after finishing Prince of Persia yesterday I decided to give one of them a go instead of finishing up BioShock again. BioShock just doesn’t feel “new” enough for me yet – I think I need to wait another year before traversing through Rapture again, so that it feels fresh like the first time.
I settled on Kane & Lynch: Dead Men for several reasons. Mostly, it’s made by Eidos, who made one of my favorite games of the last generation, Freedom Fighters. Also, it’s an entirely new IP and it’s not a FPS, and I don’t know anyone that’s played it through yet. I’ve spent about 30 minutes with it so far but I’m laying off on making any judgements just yet. They do cuss a lot, though, I’ll tell you that.

Didn’t Tyler play through it?
Who? Never heard of him.
Actually, I just checked and he did, thanks for invalidating my whole post.
Hell, he even wrote a review of it. Way to go on your research, Russ:
