Film Review: Dragon Hunters

Dragon Hunters is a French-made, computer-animated film based on an animated series that’s been running for a few seasons in France. It was on Cartoon Network a couple years ago for a hot minute before being pulled.

Visually, the film stands heads above your typical computer-animated films in terms of concept and scope. It’s set in an alternate world full of floating land masses and dragons. It sounds weird, but it creates a visually striking atmosphere that is a treat to watch, even under the guise of a kids’ movie. I’m not sure if and when it’s coming to DVD here in the states, but it’s definitely worth watching. Trailer:

Your video is no longer available. Probably you told so many people to pirate the movie.

Fixed it. Let’s see how long this one lasts.

Well I found the script and the characters very disappointing, but indeed the floating objects creat an amazing dream-like atmosphere.
