I went to GameStop to buy a new game last night, and got carded.
The game was Brothers in Arms: Highway to Hell Hell’s Highway (many more posts coming on that later), and when I brought it up to the counter, the guy asked for my ID because it is an “M” rated game, which stores can’t sell to people under 17. I’m 26, hadn’t shaved in two days, and I still got carded by the GameStop guy. I think it was more of a power trip actually than him doing his duty to keep violent games out of youthful hands, but come on, I’m not some high school senior trying to buy a six-pack with his older brother’s ID. It felt a little ridiculous.

Cody, sorry to hear about your Xbox woes.
Mark, two days without shaving isn’t saying much for you, babyface. I’d card you, too.
