That’s actually a screenshot from my iPhone, using a free app I discovered today.
Mocha VNC Lite is probably the most exciting iPhone app I’ve downloaded so far. It lets you remotely control your Mac (or PC) from your iPhone. After downloading the free app and following their instructions, I was well on my way to admiring my laptop’s screen from afar. It basically uses Apple’s “screen sharing” mode remotely, and gives you full access to your screen. It also allows pinching in/out in order to get a better view of your desktop.
Need to email yourself a file that’s on your computer? Done.
Remotely queue up your BitTorrent downloads? Done.
Not that I condone BitTorrent. No sir. Pay no attention to Transmission sitting right there on my dock.
