Strolling though he Barnes and Noble yesterday, about to watch Wall•E when this little number caught my eye:
Nice cover. It had been a while since I actually wound my way though the stacks of magazines at the nearest Book/Coffee store giant. I forgot just how many different enthusiast magazines there are out there. Retro Gamer is made all the way from across the pond in Jolly Old England (I could tell by how they spell ‘color’ all French).
As you can see this issue was all about the Zeldas. There was even a tree diagram of all iterations of Hylian lore. Pretty Sweet. Pick one up if you ever feel the need to consume physical media ever again. GEEZER!
Is that a $12 price tag I see? A little steep.
If they had the guts to put Bad Dudes on the cover and do a spread on the vile existence of Data East, then and only then would Retro Gamer be the greatest magazine ever. As of right now, it’s are okay for the most part.
