I’m going to be at an AT&T store at 8am on July 11th to get my hands on the new iPhone. Until then, I’m listing all the ways I hope this new gadget will improve my life:

Another gadget I’ve held off on buying is a GPS. Mainly because I live in Hawaii - how am I going to get lost? - but also because I had a feeling that it would eventually be integrated into the iPhone.

I borrowed a GPS for a cross-country road trip last year, and it was awesome. I was able to search for restaurants in unknown towns, and plan my trip based on nearby gas stations. My wife and I are moving to the mainland (Maryland) in a couple months, and it’s an entirely new area for the both of us. Having the iPhone’s built-in GPS makes me a little more at ease.
