I don’t know about you guys, but sometimes a brother just wants to do some plain old side-scrollin’ platforming. I guess Nintendo heard my lonesome cries in the night for something new, because the footage above of the recently-announced Wario Land: Shake It looks to hearken back to the days of my youth.

Too bad Wario as a character annoys me. I would have been more excited if it was Mario. Or Luigi. Or Toad. Or Princess. Or if you could select from one of those four before each level…yeah right, like that would ever happen!
