For the first time ever I’m actually anticipating a Nintendo DS game. Usually, I find out that a game is out weeks after its release date because I just don’t feel much urgency for new handheld games. But then I just read that Chrono Trigger is coming to the DS this winter.
Why I care:
1. This is widely considered one of the greatest RPGs of all time, and is featured in a lot of “top of all time” lists (#18 on IGN’s).
2. It has 13 different endings. That’s nothing to shake a stick at, especially when you consider this game was made on the SNES over 13 years ago.
3. I never played it the first time around, because I didn’t own an SNES. Yeah, I was a Genesis/SegaCD/32x kid.

I am excited for this too, I even had an snes and still haven’t played this game. I had less patience for JRPGS back then.
