I am a big supporter of achievement stacking - when you beat a game on a harder skill and you are awarded the achievement points for completing the game on the easier skills, too. For instance, when you beat the Hard career on Rock Band, you get the points for Easy and Medium, too. Many recent games have it, so much so that it’s become the norm.
That’s why I’m irked to find a game that doesn’t have achievement stacking. Case in point: I just read that one of the games I’m currently playing through, Medal of Honor: Airborne, does NOT have cheever stacking. Go figure that it’s the first game I’ve tried playing through on a more difficult setting the first time through. Which means that if I was to beat the game on the harder setting, I would still have to go back and play it on the easy setting. I’d rather play it through on the easy setting first and work my way up, which means I have to start the whole thing over again.

I always hate when there are different achievements for different difficulty settings, it just seems lazy. There should be the ones to beat it on any difficulty, and then other more creative ones.
Got fire in belly to do different? Online balance, stacking, puzzle game designed by Johnny-K and sponsored by Smartkit. Poiser The artwork is hand drawn, and the game engine models real-world physics. The first couple levels are easy and use only 1 box size. Later levels get much trickier, and throw different size boxes at you in random fashion. The stability of the board also decreases as you advance levels.
Sorry, I didn’t mean to leave you guys hanging on a limb without a link. You can find the game at http://www.smart-kit.com/s1163/hand-drawn-puzzle-game/
um, wrong “stacking”.
Lawlz.
yeah, with stacking achivements its so much better and it saves a lot of time too.
GH3 was the worst for me, never really could handle how slow easy was :/
GH3 had the worst achievement list of all time. Some of them were so ridiculous, I couldn’t even believe they were on there, especially the online ones.
agreed,
I think any game with “get top of world leaderboard” achievements are pretty dumb also. I think GRAW and PGR3 had some variant of that.
