Earlier today, Tyler and I had a fairly lengthy converstation regarding many topics ranging from young, cut bottoms (mmmmm), to man-animals, and to our GTAIV gripes (forced police chases).
The thing we talked about that got me the most pumped though, was our anticipation of the next Battlefield game. I loved Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, but its decidedly last-gen qualities (especially when compared to newer games like COD4) make it very diffucult to play now. The next game in the time-period hopping FPS series, Battlefield: Bad Company is scheduled to release on June 23rd, and I have very high hopes for it. I don’t know if it will be a complete COD4 killer, but if the vehicles, helicopter-sniper drop offs, and C4-car bombings from BF2:MC are in it, then I’ll definitely be hot-swapping.
Of course, I’m only talking about the multiplayer here. I don’t really care about the campaign too much, although with something resembling an actual story in Bad Company, it might be worth a once-over.

did you try the demo? i’m downloading it now.
