I’m tired of waiting for Mark and Tyler to catch up on BSG so we can talk about it, and this is the final season of the show, so I want to start a weekly post after every episode with my thoughts and predictions. Granted, this is all just stuff that comes to my mind while watching.

** Caution: major spoilers ahead. Read only if you’ve watched Battlestar Galactica up to Season 4, ep 3. **

Cally was put out the airlock by that cylon Presidential aide. This does two things for me – 1) gets rid of Cally, who I always thought was annoying (like a teenager convinced they are an adult but it’s obviously not true) and 2) shows that there’s a lingering evil in that cylon chick. I have a feeling that she will be quite a bad egg, whereas Tyrol, XO and Anders are still up in the air.

I’m interested to see if the four cylons’ wiring just “kicks in” like it did when Boomer shot Adama at the end of season one, or if they will have more of a choice over their actions.

I imagine that there is going to be a power play between Lee Adama and the President over the course of the next few episodes. I’m expecting it to be drawn out, a lot like the cylon power struggle that’s going on right now. I really hope they never actually unbox the Model 3 (D’ana, Xena, you know who I mean) because she was pretty annoying. I also hope that they don’t unbox her and then she reveals the final cylon model. I hope the writers come up with something better than that.

Baltar wasn’t in the episode, which is good, I am annoyed by his selfishness.

Onboard the Demetrius, I see a mutiny forming. I also find it strange that Gaita went with them, considering how vital he is to the Galactica, and that he doesn’t like Starbuck.

And they said “frak” waaaay too much during the episode. Especially Starbuck’s “I just wanna frak” tirade, that was ridiculous.

As for who the final cylon is, I can see it being Gaita, Starbuck, Baltar, Lee Adama or Bill Adama. My pick for the week is Gaita, since it’s suspicious that he’s on the Demetrius at all.
