Tyler Miller translates to Ninja Warrior in Icelandic.

I’m sort of new to TV after a two year absence. And since diving back in to the universe of programming that is made available to the average American, I can say with full certainty that 97.778 of it is ass-shit. Case in point:

Ahem…

But every so often we come across a station late at night, while flipping past new ‘I love New York’ episodes and ‘Springer’ re-runs, and we realize that there is hope left for this country, nay, this world. That hope lies with the soul of  Makoto Nagano, Ninja Warrior.

It’s like American Gladiators minus everything I hate. No faux patriotic pretense, no roided-out, imoptent monsters, no direct competition. Just a man (or woman) competing against themselves, in order to make it atop an agro-crag-esque obstacle course that takes brains as well as brawn to best.

This show, like other Tyler Faves, is on G4… quite possibly the best channel in television history.
